Practice: Mindful Morning Ritual
Set aside some time or simply reflect on these three areas during your morning routine.
Gratitude: Reflect on three things, people, and experiences that you are grateful for. Pause.
Affirmation: Reflect on a vision of your highest self. Say aloud, whisper, or write out three affirmative statements in this reflection.
Priorities: Get specific on what matters today. Say or write out three priorities that you will do today.
In creating a habit, it doesn't matter how many miles you run a day, but rather how many days you run a mile.
Practice: Tara Brach
Tara Brach’s teachings blend Western psychology and Eastern spiritual practices, mindful attention to our inner life, and a full, compassionate engagement with our world. The result is a distinctive voice in Western Buddhism, one that offers a wise and caring approach to freeing ourselves and society from suffering.
