About the Event
It is no secret that last year brought many hardships to businesses and its employees. The pandemic has reset the expectations and mindsets of workers and as we emerge from COVID-19 we’re seeing a voluntary mass exit from the workforce; an era coined The Great Resignation. As a result of the pandemic, employees, specifically women, have contemplated leaving the workforce or have left altogether for several reasons like work/life balance and entrepreneurial pursuits, but also a lack of employee engagement.
At our next Thrive Luncheon on October 27, we will be joined by human resource specialists and industry leaders to discuss strategies to recruit, retain and re-engage professional women in the workplace. It is imperative that employers understand the value that women bring to the workforce and find ways to ensure their success.
